Roger A. Parker, 67, formerly of Pensacola, died peacefully in his sleep Wednesday, March 25, 2015 in Cumming, Georgia. He was an Emergency Medical Technician and a Paramedic for Escambia County Emergency Services and worked with the LifeFlight program and in the Poison Control Center at Baptist Hospital in Pensacola. He became an R.N and worked at St. Joseph Hospital and Emory Hospital in Atlanta. He was predeceased by his parents, Douglas A. Parker and Sallie M. Smith and is survived by his wife of forty years, Debi Parker; a daughter, Niki (Glenn) Davenport; two granddaughters, Alexus Parker and Brie Pontoon; two sisters-in-law, Pam Argerenon and Kim King; sister, Kathy Spradling and brothers, Bob Parker and Don Parker. A Memorial service in Pensacola is planned for July.
