Roger Lee Smith, 82, of Pensacola, FL, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, December 6, 2021.

Roger was a loving and supportive dad who led his family with a devoted love to his best friend Nancy.

Roger was hilarious and will be remembered for his quick wit and hearty laugh. He maintained close friendships and was revered by many as a mentor. Roger enjoyed Nancy's honey-do list followed by an afternoon at the cigar shop. He fondly remembered his business partners and trips to Japan and Chile.

He was loyal and steadfast to everyone he loved, including his many dogs and the Crimson Tide.

Roger is preceded in death by his parents, John and Dorothy Smith; beloved wife, Nancy and his daughter, Kristi Lewis.

He is survived by daughters, Melissa Whatley (Garon), Sarah Marie, Anna McCrory (David) and Mary Beth Hendrix (Erin); sons, Roger (Carol); Andrew (Tiffany), Peter (Nenah), and Jeremy (Jennifer); fourteen grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

The family will gather for a private family service.
