Roland U. Feiler, 79, of Spanish Fort, AL and formerly of Pensacola, FL went home peacefully on Monday, August 18, 2014. Roland was born on January 17, 1935 in Cleveland, OH to Lina (Ruf) and Gottleib Feiler. He was a Machinist with the DuPont Corp. Mr. Feiler served as a Priest and Missionary with the New Apostolic Church for many years in West Virginia and an Assistant Priest in Westlake, OH, and helped in many other capacities with the New Apostolic Church. After retiring as a Priest with the New Apostolic Church at the age of 65, Mr. Feiler enjoyed singing in the choir. On Friday, July 13, 1962, he married Bernice Inez (Akers) Feiler, who has since preceded him in death on Wednesday, October 27, 2010. Roland was also preceded in death by his parents; brother, Ralph and a sister, Dolories. He is survived by his children; Rebecca, Linda and Jeffrey; grandchildren, Brett, Nikole, Jasmin, Meaghan, Nathan, Alyssa, Danielle and Jeffrey; his brothers, Gary, Arthur (Beth), Herb (Joan) and Carl (Walli); sister, Ruth; sister-in-law, Rosemary as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2014 at 2:00PM (CST) from the New Apostolic Church, 6326 Van Buren St., Daphne, AL 36526. The family would like to express a special thanks to his caregivers Randi (Howard) and Nancy (Pat), as well as Dr. Peter Lutz and his staff at the Mobile Infirmary for their loving and professional care given to Mr. Feiler and his family.
