Ronald "Ron" Lloyd Bullock, age 79, native of Pensacola, passed away on Saturday, February 10, 2024, at his home. Ron was born on December 7, 1944, in the old Sacred Heart Hospital to the late Espin Earl and Lucille Merritt Bullock. He liked to say his mother and his wife's mother were in the same hospital during the same week having their babies.

Ron worked and sacrificed selflessly for his family throughout his entire life. He was an avid hunter, spending time first in Demopolis and then later at his camp in Range Alabama. In the morning, it was fishing in the ponds, only keeping the bream and insisting it was better to release the bass. By afternoon, he always found time to play ball with Barron, his much-loved rescue dog. Then he would end the day by sitting in the rocking chair looking out over the fields counting his doves. Ron spent more time there counting and naming them than shooting them.

He was also an avid fisherman, early in his marriage, he would be catching mullet at their home in Hickory Shores, and then cooking for a large group of friends every weekend. When he moved to Gulf Breeze and then on to Warrington it was all about bill fishing, Cobia fishing and boat trips to Apalachicola with friends.

Ron was a 1962 graduate of PHS. He attended Florida State, where he was a member of KA Fraternity. Ron was married in 1964 to Barbara Stringfield, who was his first date in 7th grade. He spent his life in sales working for Xerox and then Edgewater Yacht Sales.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Petrea Bullock and an infant daughter.

Those left to cherish his memory include, his devoted wife of 60 years, Barbara Bullock; a son, John (Leslie) Bullock; a daughter, Tina Nash; brothers, Espin Bullock and Rick (Susan) Bullock; a sister, Pam (Alan) Lameier; four grandchildren, Tristan (Charlie) Caraveo, Taylor Nash, Blakely Bullock and Sadie Bullock.
