Ronald Edwin Silvert, 76, of Pensacola, FL, passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side. He was born on August 8, 1948, to Francis and Gertrude Mary McGowan Silvert in Philadelphia, PA.

After spending time in the Air Force as an airplane mechanic and achieving rank as Staff Sergeant, he accepted a job from Petroleum Helicopters International, Inc. (PHI) as a helicopter mechanic based out of Pensacola, FL. Ron has been living in Pensacola and working for PHI for the last 40 years. Ron was an avid outdoorsman and belonged to several running clubs like Captain Fun Runners and Seville Quarter Milers and the West Florida Wheelmen bicycle club.

A visitation will be held from 9:30 until 10:30 am on Tuesday July 22, 2025, at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel. At 10:30 am we will be departing from Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel to make our way to Barrancas National Cemetery for a Graveside Service that will begin at 11:00 am with Father Tom Koyickal officiating.
