IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Rosalie Fauria
Rouchon
September 1, 1931 – January 30, 2023
Rosalie Fauria Rouchon, 91, passed away on Monday, January 30, 2023.
Rosalie was born on September 1, 1931 to William and Geneveive Fauria, one of three children, and raised in Pensacola, FL. As a student at Catholic High School, Rosalie wrote for the school newspaper and was the salutatorian of her high school class. Upon graduation, Rosalie worked for Gulf Power Company until she married her high school sweetheart, Tony Rouchon. Their partnership was defined by a devotion to each other, a strong faith and an ability to weather life's storms. Together they travelled the world and raised 5 children. If it is true that "Behind every great man, there is a great woman," Rosalie was definitely the great woman. After settling in Clinton, MS, Rosalie supported Tony's work to build a successful business. She also became involved in her church where she taught religious education, served as a Lector, Eucharistic Minister, and worked to create a welcoming environment at the parish. Mom was always ready with sage advice and good counsel; there was no problem that she could not talk you through or help you with. That wisdom will be sorely missed. Rosalie ("Dauber") will be especially remembered for tirelessly working to create wonderful experiences for her grandchildren, including an annual week at the beach, Girls' days out, summers with "Dauber" and Granddad, and always having their favorite snacks on hand for visits.
Rosalie is survived by her five children; fifteen grandchildren; as well as eight great-grandchildren.
Rosalie was welcomed into heaven by her parents, "Mimi" & "Poppy;" sisters, "Sis" and Joanne; husband, Tony; son-in-law, Perry; as well as her granddaughter, Laura Ann.
