Rose Marie Nunnari Tyrrell, 92, of Pensacola, FL, passed away on Saturday, June 26, 2021.
Rose Marie, graduated from Pensacola Catholic High School and attended Florida State University. She retired as the Executive Vice President from Bank of the South after a career of 43 years.
She was the organist at St. Paul and Our Savior Catholic Church's for 24 years where she enjoyed playing Midnight Mass yearly. Rose Marie was a member and former President of Pilot Club of Pensacola, Inc., where she enjoyed doing volunteer work. Also, she was a member of the Music Study Club, Pensacola Symphony Guild and several other social clubs.
Rose Marie was an avid golfer. She enjoyed many years with Gordon and special friends playing golf at various resorts and every year at their cabin at Sky Valley. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, travelling and one of her most memorable times was going to Rome and seeing Pope John Paul. Above all, she loved being with her family and friends and always talked about her wonderful childhood.
Rose Marie is preceded in death by her parents, Janet and Leo Nunnari.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Gordon W. Tyrrell; children, Gary M. Croft and Karen E. Storozuk; step-children, Kay Richie, Jan Reilly, and Steven Tyrrell (Karen); grandchildren, Lauren and Ryan Croft, Christopher Busche and Shelby Storozuk; step-grandchild, Amanda Bennett (Daniel); great grandchildren, Beckham Escobar and Elizabeth Busche; step-great grandchildren, Kyler, Kason, and Kyren Bennett; sister, Jeanne Osburn (Charlie) and brother-in-law, Willis Tyrrell; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Visitation will be held 1:30pm until a Memorial Mass to begin at 2pm Thursday, July 1, 2021, at St. Paul Catholic Church, with Fr. Craig Smith celebrant.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul Catholic Church or Cokesbury United Methodist Church.
