Rosemary Astley passed away on Saturday, December 28, 2013 in Pensacola, FL. Rosemary Astley was born in Des Moines, IA where she met the late Albert Astley, her husband of 58 years. As a navy wife she traveled the world extensively before they retired to Pensacola, FL in 1973. Rosemary also had the distinction of being a West Florida Hospital Sunshine Volunteer from the day the hospital opened. She continued to volunteer for more than 30 years. Rosemary was also a member of Mcllwain Presbyterian Church. Rosemary Astley is survived by two sons, Steve Astley (Robin) and Kevin Astley (Rinda); grandchildren, Derek Astley and Erin Fromm (Jeremy) and great-grandchildren, Silas Fromm and Molly Fromm. Visitation will be at 10:00am followed by services at 11:00am at Harper Morris Memorial Chapel on Thursday, January 2, 2014, with Chaplain Ed Norris officiating. The family would like to thank Carpenter's Creek ALF and Regency Hospice for the care they gave Rosemary.
