Ross Alfred Briggs, 68, of Pensacola, FL, passed away on Sunday, April 20, 2025.

Ross was born on September 18, 1956, in Pensacola, FL, and attended St. Paul Catholic School and graduated from Pensacola Catholic High School in 1974.

Ross had a varied career, but the one he settled on and loved was driving a dump truck. He was a big man, and a dump truck fit him and his personality. He worked for several construction companies in Escambia and Santa Rosa Counties until he was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in late 2016.

Ross's free time involved fishing, hunting and going to estate and garage sales. He loved collecting stuff…marbles, dice, playing cards, coins, and dead animal skins were some of his favorites.

Ross is preceded in death by his parents, Willie Alfred Briggs and Ina Caro Briggs.

He is survived by his sister, Paula Briggs Kendig; nephews, Adam Kendig, Jacob Kendig, and Adam "AJ" Kendig, Jr.; nieces, Christy Kendig and Chelsey Kendig; and lifelong best friend, Kevin Pass.
