Roy A Shires Jr. passed away on 18 April 2016.

Brother and friend, like his Mother he never met a stranger.  Although he could be abrupt at times, he was true and loyal to those he called friend. He enjoyed fishing, crabbing and being on the water. He will be missed by all those who knew him. He struggled hard since July of last year, but was unable to overcome the infections and other physical problems that lead to his disabilities.

On Saturday he asked the Lord to let him go and Sunday his prayer was answered.  My brother you are now at peace, not in pain and in a better place.
