Roy Wilson Simmons, 66, of Pace, FL passed away on Thursday, February 16, 2017.

Roy was born on July 8, 1950 in Mobile, Al to Issac W. and Dallie (Wiggins) Simmons. He served his country in the US Navy during the Viet-Nam Era. He was a driver for the McKenzie Tank Line Company, where he received an award for logging 3 million miles without an accident. Roy along with his wife, Barbara owned and operated A Flower Shop for 30 years. He attended Immanuel Lutheran Church.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Rogers Simmons; son, Roy Travis Simmons; daughter, Lori Jean Forsley all of Pace, FL; sister, Sybil Allen of Loxley, AL; two grandchildren, Devin Luke Jones and Harold Lloyd Anderson; niece Jana Allen of Lucedale, MS; nephew, Mark Allen of Loxley, AL and other relatives.

The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00am followed by a Memorial Service at 11:00am Monday, February 27, 2017 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel with Rev. Ken Griffin officiating.
