IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Ruby Lee
(Barlow) Broxson
September 24, 1927 – January 5, 2017
Ruby was born in the forest land, now occupied by Eglin Air Force Base at Holly, FL. She moved to Pensacola at the age of 16, where she finished her high school education and attended Pensacola Junior College. She married J. R. Broxson and together they raised four children. She loved anything involving the medical field. Unable to pursue nursing, she became a Unit Coordinator and retired from Baptist Hospital where she worked mostly in the medical intensive Care Unit. After retirement her love for family, reading and oil painting occupied most of her time. Rudy accepted Jesus as her Savior at an early age and was a member of Olive Baptist Church.
