Ruth V. Kendrick, 81, of Pensacola, FL passed away peacefully with her daughter and grandson at her bedside Tuesday, October 17, 2017.

Ruth was born in Evergreen, AL on August 29, 1936. She retired from Sacred Heart Hospital as a Surgical Open Heart Nurse. A member of the Krewe of Aphrodite and Krewe of Jesters, Ruth loved life, spending time with her family, nursing, traveling and helping people.

Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Clarke Kendrick, Jr.; and her seven siblings.

She is survived by her daughter Vickie McNally (Michael); grandson, Scott Walker and her puppy Sophie.

A Graveside Service will be held at 9:30am Friday, October 20, 2017 at Bayview Memorial Park, with Pastor Bill Flannigan officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Covenant Care Hospice, 5041 N. 12 ^th Ave., Pensacola, FL 32504.
