Ruth Adele McLean Royles, 74, of Willow Grove, PA, passed away into God's loving care on Sunday, April 13, 2025 at Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola, FL. Ruth was born on February 21, 1951 in Philadelphia, PA to the late Samuel and Adele (Kuhn) McLean.

Ruth was a 1969 graduate of Abington High School. She married shortly after graduation and her travels as a Navy spouse took her to Atsugi, Japan, where she made lifelong friends.  After settling back in Willow Grove, she enjoyed a dedicated career of over 23 years at Matheson Tri-Gas in Montgomeryville, PA.

Ruth truly lived life to the fullest through the simple pleasure of spending time with family and friends. After relocating to Florida in 2020, she kept her Pennsylvania relationships strong through daily calls, texts, and video chats.

Ruth is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph C. Royles and her son, Gregory J. Royles.

Ruth is survived by her son, Todd G. Royles and his wife Tara of Pensacola, FL. Ruth's most precious treasures were her two granddaughters, Sophia and Caroline.

She is also survived by her sister, Lynn Schmitt (Jim) of Chandler, AZ; sister, Bette Love of Glenside, PA; brother, Jack McLean of Sellersville, PA, and brother Michael McLean (Judy) of Perkasie, PA. Ruth will also be remembered fondly by many in-laws, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to Ruth's memorial service on Saturday, June 14, 2025 at 4:00 p.m. at St. Peter's Episcopal Church, 654 N. Easton Road, Glenside, PA 19038, followed by her celebration of life from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Interment will be private.
