Ruth Elaine Webb, 81, of Tanner Williams, AL went home to be with her Lord Wednesday, July 1, 2020.

Ruth E. Webb was born June 26, 1939 in Tanner Williams, AL to Mack Hinton and Roxie Joyner.

Ruth worked at Monsanto for 17 years as a spinner before making a career change to the hotel industry. Ruth moved to Key West, FL in 1984 where she met her soul mate, George W. Webb, to whom she shared 34 years of marriage. After living in Key West for ten years, they lived in Central FL for ten years, and relocated to Pensacola in 2005. She was a spiritual woman and involved in many church activities at Northridge Church, where she has been a member since 2010. While attending Northridge Ruth developed many meaningful friendships and enjoyed Wednesday night small group. She enjoyed life, her fur-baby, Chi-Chi, the Florida Gators, Blue Wahoo games, tending to her plants and sweets.

She will be remembered as a compassionate, loyal and loving friend with a huge heart! She is loved by many and will be missed by all. We will miss her warm hugs and beautiful smile.

Ruth is preceded in death by her parents, Mack Hinton & Roxie Joyner; sisters, Rebecca Hinton, Melville Latham and Roxie Henderson; son, Billy Griffin and son-in-law, Michael Dobbins.

She is survived by her husband, George Webb; daughter, Becki Griffin Dobbins; granddaughters, Jennifer Dobbins and Stacy Dobbins; great grandchildren, Hunter Dobbins and Triston Brown and sister, Lenora Luker (Johnny).

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00am Thursday, July 9, 2020 at Northridge Church, 2075 East 9 Mile Road, Pensacola, FL 32514 with Pastor Randy Hamil officiating.
