Saint Lyndel Drean Townsend, 5 weeks old, of Pensacola, FL passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, December 11, 2022.

Saint was born on November 7, 2022 in Pensacola, FL to Devin Townsend and Oliviah Ballenger. He was 7 lbs. 6 oz. and entered this world loved by many. A small tiny baby with a big voice and a strong will! Saint was going to get your attention and get what he wanted, if that was a bottle, a diaper change, a bounce, a rock, or a hug. From the beginning he changed our lives and he will forever be loved and missed.

He is preceded in death by his great great grandmothers, Matilda Townsend and Mamie Lou Rutledge; as well as his great grandfathers, Pastor Lindell Ballenger and James D. Lewis.

Survivors include his mother, Oliviah Ballenger; father, Devin Townsend; grandmothers, Niea Lewis and Carrie Whatley (Rodney); grandfathers, Len Ballenger and Andre Townsend; great grandmothers, Darlene Singleton (Robert), Barbara Walders Lewis, and Clarissa Rutledge; aunts, Julia Lanclos (Alex) and Lakeya Townsend; uncles, Adam Ballenger, Andre Townsend, Jr. and Chris Townsend; great grandfathers, Clarence Townsend and Raymond Lewis; as well as cousin, Rayla Waker; as well as many other extended family members.

Visitation will be held at 12:00noon until the funeral service begins at 1:00pm Friday, December 16, 2022 at Jubilee Church, with Pastor Tim Fox officiating. Interment will follow at Bayview Memorial Park.

Active pallbearers will be Kevin Roberson, Kendrick Milton, Tacolby Thomas, and Marquis Brown.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Jubilee Church, 5910 N. W. St., Pensacola, FL 32505.
