Sally Patton Pittard, 97, of Pensacola passed away on Wednesday, November 13, 2013. Mrs. Pittard was born on July 16, 1916 in Wytheville, VA. She was a retired Medical Technologist and a member of Christ Episcopal Church, Pensacola. Mrs. Pittard was preceded in death by her husband, George Franklin Pittard, RADM (Ret), US Navy. She is survived by her daughter, Laura Elizabeth Pittard of Atlanta, GA and a son, George Franklin Pittard, Jr. of Lawton, OK; grandchildren, Mary Taylor Pittard and Christopher Lael Pittard; a brother, John Mercer Patton, Col. (Ret) USAF of Colorado Springs, CO and many loved nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held at 10:30am Saturday, November 23, 2013 at the Azalea Trace Auditorium, Pensacola and on Saturday, December 7, 2013 at St. Bartholomew's Episcopal Church in Atlanta, GA. Her cremains will be placed in the Christ Church Columbarium.
