Sandra Kay (Holifield) Miller went to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 19, 2026, surrounded by her loving family in Pensacola, Florida.

Sandra was born to Herbert and Josephine Holifield and was one of eleven children. She graduated from Pensacola High School in 1962 and worked for Sears until she met the love of her life, Eugene "Gene" Miller, a Naval Flight Student. They began their wonderful journey together in marriage on January 22, 1966, sharing more than sixty years of love, devotion, and partnership.

During Gene's military service, the couple was first stationed in San Diego, California, where they began building their family. Following his active-duty service, they returned to Pensacola, where their family grew to include five children. Sandra created a loving home filled with laughter, music, faith, and unconditional love.

Sandra was a devoted homemaker whose greatest joy was her family. She never missed an opportunity to create cherished memories from life's simplest moments and had a special gift for making each of her children feel uniquely loved. Throughout the years, she especially enjoyed bringing the family together during holidays and celebrations, establishing traditions that will continue for generations.

As her family expanded, Sandra found tremendous joy in caring for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was known by all who knew her as one of the most loving, generous, and compassionate people they had ever met. No matter the circumstance, she was always willing to help anyone in need, offering comfort, encouragement, and unconditional support.

Continuing her life's calling of caring for others, Sandra worked at La Petite Academy as a one-year-old teacher for 16 years. During her tenure, she positively impacted countless children and families. Even while courageously battling breast cancer, she remained dedicated to her work and the children she loved, never allowing her personal struggles to diminish her commitment to others.

Sandra was a devoted Catholic who faithfully raised her children in the service of God and lived her faith each day through her kindness, compassion, and unwavering love for others. Her life was a beautiful reflection of Christian values, and her legacy will live on through the family she cherished and the countless lives she touched.

Sandra is preceded in death by her beloved son, Stephen Miller, in 2015.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Eugene "Gene" Miller; her daughters, Lisa Suggs, Marci Jones, and Cathy Garcia (Tony); her son, Kenny Miller; her grandchildren, Rachell Molidor, Holly Braafhart, Phil Miller, Anthony Lane, Eric Jones, Caden Garcia, Haleigh Miller, and Justin Miller; and her great-grandchildren, Alyson Hintz, Adriene Hintz, Johnny Molidor, and George Molidor.

Sandra will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who were blessed to know her. While their hearts mourn her passing, they find comfort in knowing she has been welcomed into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior.

"Well done, good and faithful servant." Matthew 25:23

Visitation will be held from 1:00 pm until a funeral service begins at 2:00 pm on Friday, July 24, 2026 at Harper Morris Memorial Chapel, with Fr. George Thekku serving as Celebrant. A committal service will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Kenny Miller, Justin Miller, Eric Jones, David Holifield, Anthony Lane, and Josh Murphy.
