IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Sandra Jeanne
"Sandy" Collins
February 2, 1961 – July 22, 2018
Sandra Jeanne "Sandy" Collins, age 57, of Pensacola, was called home Sunday, July 22, 2018 peacefully at home, with her family at her side. She was born February 2, 1961 to Joanne and the late Warren Harding, in Chelsea, Massachusetts. Sandy was raised with her brother Warren, Jr. and sisters Diane and Terri. They learned at an early age to love life and live it to the fullest. She faced all challenges head on. She developed an enduring love for family, country and truth. Sandy moved from Texas to Florida where she met and married Lewis Collins, becoming the mother of three sons and two daughters. Family was her delight and joy, seeing twelve grandchildren born and grow. Everyone she was around knew how special she was, a good friend, loyal mate, teacher and advisor. She left a legacy that made everyone's life better than before. A pillar of quiet strength, wise beyond measure, a true woman that will be missed by all who knew her. As to her wishes, her cremated remains will be taken to a favorite fishing spot and released at a later date, with her family and friends present. Sandy was a great woman who loved and lived life, bringing happiness to all she met. She was preceded in death by her father. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband Lewis J. Collins, III; her children Edward Evans (Amanda) of Colorado, Amanda Kell (Denny), Lewis Collins (Heather), Tiffany Collins and Jacob Collins (Lisa) of Tennessee; twelve cherished grandchildren; her mother Joanne Harding; and a host of extended family and friends. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Sandy's name to the U.S.O. at www.uso.org or to Regency Hospice, 50 Beverly Parkway, Pensacola, FL 32505.
