Sandra Joan Wilkins, 91, of Gulf Breeze, FL passed away Sunday, September 13, 2026.

Sandra was born on August 31, 1935, in Portsmouth, OH to Katherine (Schaffer) and Harry Milton Lee. On November 8, 1952, she married John Bass Wilkins, and they were married for 58 years, until his passing on July 10, 2010. They were reunited in heaven on September 13, 2026. Sandra was a supportive Navy spouse, had worked as a Travel Agent in San Diego, CA, and traveled the world with her husband and friends. She enjoyed playing tennis competitively for over 60 years.

Sandra was a loving sister to Michal and Larry, and a wonderful and loving mother to Steve and Mike.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Katherine and Harry Lee; husband, John Bass Wilkins; brother, Larry Lee; and niece, Kelly Ivey.

She is survived by her sons, Stephen Wilkins (Maggie) and Mike Wilkins (Dena); her sister, Michal Ivey (Wayne); a sister-in-law, Jan Lee; her grandchildren, Matt Wilkins (Annie), Josh Wilkins (Amanda), Taylor Mitchell (Dylan), Mike Rizza (Gergana), Michelle Parrish ( Reid), Stephanie Rizza, Christine Atchison (Jake), Liz Youssefi (Tony), and Kristin Howard; great grandchildren, Lucy Jane Wilkins, Teddi Rizza, Liam, Luke, and Gwyn Parrish, Maverick, Ronin and Sophia Atchison, Brooks and Beckett Youssefi, Harper Howard; niece, Lisa Gates (Brian); nephews, Doug Ivey (Delaina) and Greg Lee.

A visitation will be held from 11:00am - 12:15pm, Monday, September 21, 2026, at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel. Immediately following the visitation, a funeral cortege will depart Harper-Morris for a graveside service that begins at 1:00pm at Barrancas National Cemetery, with Dr. Ted Traylor and Dr. Jerry Passmore officiating.

The family would like to express a special thank you to the Staffs of Emerald Coast Hospice and Summer Vista Assisted Living for their professional and loving care given to Mrs. Wilkins.
