Sara Anson, 44, of Pensacola, died peacefully on June 24th, 2011. Sara graduated from Woodham High School in 1985. She was active in Special Olympics and involved with many activities through ARC Gateway, including the Special Steppers square dance club, and Aktion Club. Sara was well known in the community and would charm people with her ever present smile and hugs. She was predeceased by her parents, Hank and Duffy Anson. She was the beloved sister of William, Robert, John (Ellen), Janet Goodrich (John), and Lisa Grosholz (Harold). She is also survived by 5 nieces and nephews, cousins, and many friends. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00pm Sunday, June 26, 2011 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to ARC Gateway, 3932 North 10th Avenue, Pensacola, Florida, 32503. Her family is grateful to everyone who shared their love of Sara and her special ways, especially Debbie Payne, Donna Fassett, the staff at ARC Gateway, and Saras wonderful support staff who took care of her these past few years.
