Sarah Brown (Nancy) Maloy, 78, of Pensacola, FL passed away on Saturday, September 19, 2009. She was a native of Pensacola, and a graduate of Pensacola High School and a long time member of Christ Episcopal Church. We said goodbye to my Mother today, my brothers and I. We were the Maloy boys and she was our Mom. We told her jokes boys shouldnt tell their mothers. We taxed her patience, love, and faith, yet, we knew there was never a second, well, maybe an hour, she would trade us for gold. We each felt that we were her treasure. She fixed broken bones and broken hearts and held us together with a loyalty and love that we carry in our hearts forever. She cried when each of us left home. But, Mom, because of you, home never left us. You taught us joy in tough times, Faith and courage in the midst of pain and bad news, And, of course, laughter, there was always laughter. Your life was extraordinary. You are beautiful. Your boys will see you again, Mom. Know we are sad, but we are grateful. Nancy leaves behind her Sons; Bill, Brian, Bob and Bruce and Daughters-in-law, Robin, Rhonda, Tajha, and Becky; her Grandchildren (legacy) Michael (Liz), Tyler, Sarah, Logan, Gregory, Clayton, Harris, Mollie, Allyson, and Grant. Nancy also leaves to cherish her memory, her beloved Brother and Sister-in-law Sandy and Sallie Brown; Nephews; Alen, Chris and Hart and many wonderful, wonderful friends. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8pm Tuesday, September 22, 2009 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel. Services will be held at 10:30am Wednesday, September 23, 2009 at Christ Episcopal Church with Fr. Roberts Graves and Fr. Neal Goldsborough officiating. Mrs. Maloy s Grandsons will serve as Pallbearers. The family would like to express their appreciation for the care and support from Dr. Boatright and his staff, and the nurses (Lauren, Angela, Rebecca, Ginny and Jeannie) at West Florida Hospital.
