Sarah Wylodine Reeves Jenkins, 90, passed away on Thursday, December 19, 2013 in Cincinnati, OH. Affectionately known as "Wylo", she was born on September 28, 1923 in Decatur, AL to H. Leon and Sarah Maude Reeves. A beloved mother to daughter, Lynda (Jenkins) Shipley (Tony L.) of Cincinnati, OH and two sons, Richard L. Jenkins of Houston, TX and Thomas A. Jenkins of Berlin, OH; grandmother to John T. Jenkins (Whitney) of Houston, TX, Blake A. Shipley (Kathy) of Cincinnati, OH, Robyn Shipley Block (Todd) of Cincinnati, OH; and great grandmother to John Brooks Jenkins of Houston, TX. A sister, Joanne R. Garnett of Florence, AL and a sister-in-law Annette M. Jenkins of Spearfish, SD also survive her. Wylodine was active in the Girl Scouts & Boy Scouts, the Cary, NC Recreation Department, an avid golfer & bowler as well as a lover of dogs and animals. Her family was her life. She was an outgoing, vivacious, fun lady who touched many lives during her ninety years with us. She will be missed by all. Visitation will begin at 10:00am Friday, December 27, 2013 with Funeral services following at 10:30am from Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel with Rev. Bobby Ellisor officiating. Burial will follow at Barrancas National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Gadsden St. United Methodist Church, 901 E.
