Scott Robert Muir, 30, a twenty year resident of Pensacola, FL died Sunday, December 21, 2014 in his adopted homeland of Pensacola. Born in Red Deer, Alberta, Canada, Scott is the son of Joan Brennick and Kerry Muir. When Scott was 9 years old, his family embraced an adventure-they moved to the United States of America, the place that Scott would call home for the rest of his life. The Brennick/Muir family re-located to Pensacola, FL, and it was here that the family made roots. Scott fell in love with Pensacola-the friendly people, the warm climate, the sunshine and the beautiful beaches. His family had moved to paradise, and he would say repeatedly, especially to his Canadian family members, how privileged he was to live in Pensacola. Scott also felt privileged to be in his chosen career because he was serving people, facilitating wellness to those who needed it and practicing a craft that improved people's health. He shared his smiling face and kind, encouraging words with patients. In Scott's words, he had a "great job and a great boss and great patients". Scott is survived by his mother, Joan Brennick; his father, Kerry Muir; his sister, Heather Muir; his nieces, Aaralyn and Felicity Eaton and many aunts, uncles and cousins from Canada. Friends will be received at 3pm Saturday, December 27, 2014 with Memorial services beginning at 4pm at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel with Chaplain Ken Griffin officiating.
