Obituary

Scott R. Stevens, 67, of Pensacola, FL passed away Monday, October 14, 2024.

Scott a lifelong resident of Pensacola was born on April 12, 1957, to Searoba (Cross) and Russell James "Jim" Stevens.

He attended Workman Middle School, Washington High School, and received his diploma from PJC / Adult High School. He worked as a delivery driver for Holox and Air Gass before working at West Florida Hospital in the Maintenance Department where he retired after 20 years. Scott was an avid Florida Gators and Dallas Cowboys fan and enjoyed watching all sports. He enjoyed bowling, playing pool, softball, but most of all traveling and spending time with family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Todd Stevens.

Scott is survived by his wife, Angie Stevens, daughter, Jessica Moore (Matt), grandsons, John Matthew Peacock, and Graham Mitchell Moore; step-son, Jeremy Young (Liza); step-daughter, Sarah Lee (Ben); step grandchildren, Teagan, Mason, Maya, and Jeremiah Young, Ella and Liam Lee; sisters, Rechelle Stevens Nesbitt (Carl), Regina Welch (Steve); mother-in-law, Jeanette Glover; sisters-in-law, Kathy Cooper (Rick), Susan Stiles (Mike); several nieces and nephews, and loved by many friends.

A Memorial Visitation will be held 2:00pm – 4:00pm Saturday, October 26, 2024, at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel.

The family would like to thank, Katrina Snider, APRN with Emerald Coast Palliative Care, Dr. Sherif Ibrahim, and all his wonderful staff. Emerald Coast Hospice Staff who helped care for Scott during his last months. Dr. Ibrahim promised Scott more time with family and friends, and he lived a year and a half. We are so thankful to God for that precious time.
