Scott Young, 68, of Milton, FL, passed away in a local hospital on Saturday, April 29, 2023.

Scott was born in Pensacola on April 5, 1955, to William Robert and Dorothy Jean Young. He graduated from Milton High School in 1974. Scott loved all sports, especially golf and football. He began golfing as a child and was an excellent golfer. He worked in the golf industry for many years, most recently at Tanglewood Golf and Country Club. Scott was laid back, giving, humble, and had a wry sense of humor. He loved his family and friends. Scott is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his children, Sean Young (Emily) of Pace and Lindsey Young of Port Washington, New York; sister, Barbara Hall (Bobby) of Milton; brother, Mark Young (Debbie) of Pace; and a nephew, Dwight Hall of Pensacola.

A memorial service will be held 2:00pm Wednesday, May 10, 2023, at Harper Morris Memorial Chapel, 2276 Airport Blvd., Pensacola, FL.
