Sean Michael Douglas Thacker, 24, of Pensacola passed away Saturday April 13, 2013 from complications associated with Duchenne's Muscular Dystrophy. He was raised in Akron, OH and was a 2006 graduate of Norton High School. In addition to Sean, he was known by friends and family as "Hollywood". Sean was a strong-willed gentle soul and although he battled a life-long disease, he maintained a positive outlook on life and never gave up. Sean will be missed by many. He touched the lives of all who knew him with his positive, fun-loving attitude. He cherished every minute spent with family and friends and had dreams of being an announcer for the World Wrestling Entertainment. Left to cherish his memory are his father and stepmother, Douglas and Becky Thacker of Pensacola; mother, Trudy (Don Bergdorf) Thacker of Akron, OH; sister, Andrea (Matt Jenkins) Thacker of Valdosta, GA; brother, Justin (Gabby Wallace) Thacker of Akron, OH; sister, Chelsie (Chase Arrants) Vorachek of Pensacola and many aunts, uncles, cousins and countless friends. Visitation will be held on Friday April 19, 2013 at 5pm with a Celebration of Life Service beginning at 6 p.m. at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel, 2276 Airport Blvd., Pensacola with Pastor Ken Griffin officiating.
