Searoba D. Stevens, 83 of Pensacola passed away Friday, February 4, 2011. Mrs. Stevens was born on May 19, 1927 in Wileyville, WV. She was a resident of Pensacola for over 50 years. She was a member of St. Mark United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years Jim Stevens. Survivors include her daughters; Rechelle Nesbitt (Carl), Regina Welch (Steve) sons; Scott Stevens (Angie Hubbird), Todd Stevens, four grandchildren; Michael Welch (Lisa), Bobby Welch (Andrea), Taylor Skipper, Jessica Miller (Michael), four great grandchildren Austin, Jesse, Aden, and Anderson. At the request of our mother a Private Family Ceremony will be held on Thursday, February 10, 2011 at Barrancas National Cemetery, with Rev. Nancy Watson officiating. The family would like to express a special thanks to Broadview Assisted Living for their excellent care given to our mother. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorials contributions be made to Emerald Coast Hospice, 5401Corporate Woods Drive, Pensacola, FL 32504; or a charity of your choice.
