Shannon "Scott" Eubanks, 43, of Pensacola, FL passed away Sunday, February 2, 2014. Scott was born in Quonset Point, RI. He graduated from Washington High School and attended several culinary schools. Scott had a passion for cooking and always enjoyed cooking and trying out new recipes on families and friends. He was an Executive Chef at Rousso's, Wintzel's, Copeland's and Savannah Commons where he was also the Dining Service Director. He always enjoyed being a proud spectator and supporter at all of his nieces and nephew's sporting activities. Scott was also a history buff and enjoyed watching the history channel to learn new things about history and pass it along to friends and family. Scott is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Doris and Dudley Seabrook and paternal grandparents, Jack and Velma Eubanks. Survivors include his mother, Dolores Eubanks; father, Jack Eubanks; son, Scott Eubanks, Jr.; sister, Shauna Mathews (Phil); nephew, Phil Mathews, III (Nikole); nieces, Lauren and Amanda Mathews; great nephews, Phil Mathews, IV and Easton Byrd as well as many loving cousins. Visitation will be held 5-7pm Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel. Funeral Service will be held 10:00am Thursday, February 6, 2014 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel with Pastor Frank Wyler officiating. Burial will follow at Bayview Memorial Park. Active Pallbearers will be Phil II, Phil III, Scotty, Emanuel Theris, Joel Allen, Scott Cagle, Nick Seabrook and Shep Seabrook. The family would like to offer a special thanks to all the doctors, PA's, nurses and staff that have been at his side at West Florida Hospital and Sacred Heart Hospital.
