Our beloved Sharon Latane Cook McNeil Ikerd, born July 26, 1948, passed away Monday, December 19, 2011 at her home in Pensacola, FL. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Frances Jacobs Cook; father, Buford Howard Cook and great-nephew, Hayden Joseph Dean Ikerd. She is survived by her son, Kenneth Alan McNeil; one sister, Brenda Suzy (Jimmy) Cook Ikerd; one brother, Billy (Beth) Cook; one niece, Samantha (Charlie) Roberts; one nephew, Adam (Nichole) Ikerd; one step-brother, Gary (Sandy) Brooks; one step-sister, Ruth (Bob) Cook; step-mother, Edna Cook; four great-nieces & nephews; significant other of several years, Larry Birmingham; as well as many friends and extended family. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, January 7, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel.
