Robert "Shaw" Bosso, 72, of Gulf Breeze, FL passed away peacefully Monday, May 16, 2022, surrounded by his family after a longtime battle with renal failure.
Shaw was born April 7, 1950, in Tallahassee, FL. He graduated from the Pensacola Junior College Adult High School. He started his career in 1968 with Southern Bell followed by AT&T, and Lucent Tech, where he retired in 2000. He loved boating, fishing, water skiing, and helping whoever, whenever fix their boats. He was a member of the Telephone Pioneers and CWA 3109 and loved fishing in the International Billfishing Tournament. Shaw was a very loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, and friend. In return he was loved by all who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Adelaide Bosso; as well as his son, Rob Bosso.
Survivors include his loving wife, Wanda Bosso; son, Ryan Bosso (Lindsey) of London, UK; sisters, Mimi Buffington (Durk) of Lagoona Beach, CA and Robin Bellan of Pensacola, FL; granddaughters, Cassidy Bosso of Ferry Pass, Ashton Lasher (Ronald) of Danville, KY, Ava Bosso and Natalie Bosso both of London, UK; nieces, Denise Bertelsen (Tom) of Tallahassee, FL and Kelli Barfield (Marshall) of Pace, FL; nephews, Shane Drennen (Rachel) and Drennen Peacock (Kristen) of Pace, FL.
Visitation will be held 2:00pm until the Funeral Service to begin at 3:00pm Saturday, May 21, 2022, at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel with Pastor Robert Pooley officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Japanese Chin Rescue, P.O. Box 750893, Topeka, KS 66675.
The family would like to give special thanks to the nurses and techs of Fresenius Dialysis of Gulf Breeze and Dr. Fernan do Kafiy of Coastal Vascular.
