Steven D. Drain, 62, of Pensacola, FL passed away Wednesday, November 7, 2018.

Steve was born on April 22, 1956 in Ft. Payne, AL to James Virgil and Lona Kirtland Drain. Steve grew up in Scottsboro, AL and graduated from Section High School in Section, AL in the early 70's. While in Scottsboro, he worked in his family's restaurant business for many years before moving to Pensacola in 2003. Steve later retired from the air conditioning and refrigeration business. His retirement allowed him to be with and care for his son, Tyler and enjoy his love for cooking seafood.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Lona Kirtland Drain; brother-in-law, Kenneth Myers, Jr.; maternal grandparents, Tommy and Estelle Kirtland; maternal uncle, Coyce Kirtland; and infant sister, Debra Lynn.

Survivors include his wife, Lea Drain and son, Tyler Drain both of Pensacola; father, James Drain, Sr. (Marlene); sister, Denise Mashburn (Greg); brothers, James Drain, Jr. and John Drain (Kelli) all of Scottsboro, AL; father and mother-in-law, Kenneth Myers, Sr. (Priscilla); sister-in-law, Susan Gunter (Lee) all of Pensacola; maternal aunts, Dixie Kirtland Ramirez of Indiana, Euanice Conort, Judy Myers; maternal uncle, Dan Kirtland; as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Visitation will be held 1:45pm followed by a Funeral Service at 2:15pm Saturday, November 11, 2018 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel, with Rev. Mike Mashburn officiating. Burial will follow at Bayview Memorial Park.

Active Pallbearers will be Lee Gunter, Scott Reed, Kolby Gibney, Greg Mashburn, James Drain, Ken Myers, Sr., John Drain, and Bo Flowers.
