IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Sue Hannah
Baker
October 3, 1941 – February 13, 2016
Sue Hannah Baker, 74, US Government (Ret) of Pensacola, FL died on Saturday, February 13, 2016 in Bradenton, FL from heart failure.
Sue was born in Defuniak Springs, FL, on October 3, 1941 and served her country proudly for more than 25 years in Civil Services with assignments in Pensacola, Washington D.C. and Europe, retiring in 1997. She kept her local library busy during retirement as reading was her passion.
She was preceded in death by her father, Maxwell Howell, and her loving husband of 34 years, Johnny Baker whom she had dearly missed the past year.
She is survived by a loving blended family with her daughters, Angie Hannah (PJ), Kimberly Barrack (Michael); son, Dave Hannah (Janet); and step-daughter Kimberly Rudge (Barry). She will be lovingly missed by her grandchildren, Jacob Barrack, Zachary Barrack, Christian Hannah, Cyrus Hannah, Natalie Graus, John Graus, David Griffin (Mary) and Heather Rubenaker (Michael).
She is also survived by two of the most beautiful women on this earth. Her dearly beloved mother, Juanita Bottoms and the best sister one could ever have in Frankie Healy who, with dear brother-in-law Ed Healy, and their extended family brought so much joy to her life.
We would like to thank the nursing and cardio staffs at Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, FL for their sincere efforts in caring for our mom.
A special thank you to Kimberly, Jacob and Zachary for the loving care they provided the past two years.
We are grateful for the simple pleasures she enjoyed the last month of her life. She loved her breakfast at Peach's and her lobster for dinner. Both made her smile and that memory makes us smile.
Services will be held at a later date.
