Obituary

Summers Jarrett was called to heaven by our Savior on Friday, July 4, 2014. Summers was born and raised in Cabin Creek, WV. He graduated from Marshall University where he played football and basketball. Completing his MBA, Summers was hired by Chemstrand, later known as Monsanto and worked there for many years. He was a terrific husband, father, grandfather and friend. Summers was a dedicated man of faith, lifelong coach and volunteer at Hospice and Manna Food Bank. Summers was predeceased by his wife, Frances Jane Jarrett and is survived by his two sons; Clyde David Jarrett (Sandy) of Jacksonville, FL and Mark Summers Jarrett (Beth) of Peachtree City, GA; many grandchildren and a brother; Lee Jarrett of West Virginia. A Memorial Service will be held at Trinity Presbyterian Church on Saturday, July 26, 2014 at 10:30am with a reception immediately following. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorials be sent to Trinity Presbyterian Church, 3400 Bayou Blvd., Pensacola, FL 32503 and Manna Food Bank, 116 E. Gonzalez St., Pensacola, FL 32501.
