Susan Mardelle Bearden, age 68, of Pensacola, passed away on Thursday, January 9, 2020, in Pensacola, FL. Susan was born in Fremont Nebraska to the late Marwood and Lois Tomkins Lewis. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her former husband, Paul T. Bearden.

Susan was a true adventurist and had a real love of travel and living life to the fullest. She was a loving mother and grandmother and was of the Christian faith. When she wasn't spending time with her family and friends, Susan spent many selfless hours crocheting hats for cancer patients at local hospitals and shelters.

Those left to cherish her memory include her two daughters, Chyrel and her husband Errol Fogarty, of Pensacola, FL and Cindy Bearden, of Denver, Co; five grandchildren, Savanna Griebling, Quinn Fogarty, Samuel Fogarty, Kate Hohs, Stella Hohs; three siblings, Dianne Schultz of Denver, Co, Jeannie and her husband Bill Ritter of Denver, Co and Melbourne Lewis of Milbank, SD; as well as several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Doctors, nurses and staff of Baptist Hospital for the loving care shown to Susan and her family.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
