Obituary

Susan Marlene Winchester, age 55, of Pensacola, went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, November 24, 2020,unexceptedly  at her residence. Susan was born to the late Robert Lewis and Eva Marlene Martin Parrish in Pensacola, FL. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her brother, Mark Parish. Susan was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who was a member of Liberty Church North. She was a 1983 graduate of Pensacola High School and served her community as a teacher at East Hill Christian School, a tutor, mathematician and as a seamstress. She was loved dearly by her family and friends and will be missed by many.

Those left to cherish her memory include, her loving husband, Scott Winchester, of Pensacola, FL;  a son, Dale Benjamin Platz; a daughter, Becky Marlene Picnic (Chris), a step-son, James Winchester, of Pensacola, FL; a step-daughter, Mia Winchester, of Denver, CO; two grandchildren, Kyra Faye and Zachary Cooper Picnic; two sisters, Lisa Turberville (Scott) and Linda Manley (Brent); a brother, Paul Parrish; Mother and Father in-law, Paul and Sonja Winchester, of Pensacola, FL; Brother and Sister in-law's , Mike and Theresa Driver, of Cantonment, FL, Greg Winchester (Johnnie Pope), of Pensacola, FL, Erik Winchester (Kelly) of, Panama City, FL; her beloved puppy, Floki; many dear cousins, nieces and nephews also survive.

A graveside service to celebrate Susan's life will be held 1:00pm Monday, December 7, 2020, at Barrancas National Cemetery, with Pastor Nate Wheeler, officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00am until 12:00pm prior to the service at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel.  Those wishing to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel by 12:15pm on Monday to go in procession to the cemetery. Active Pallbearers will be as follows, Derek Winchester, James Winchester, Charlie Driver, Doug Driver, Andrew Driver and Christopher Driver.

In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to East Hill Christian School, 1301 E Gonzalez St, Pensacola, FL 32501.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to, The Facility and Staff of East Hill Christian School and her sister-in-law, Theresa Driver, for the loving care and support shown to Susan and her family during this difficult time.
