After a courageous battle with cancer, Suzanne Solomon Harper passed away on Wednesday, October 13, 2021, surrounded by loved ones who will continue to honor her legacy by keeping her memory alive and living their lives to the fullest.

Suzanne was born on September 1, 1948 in Griffin, GA to John Wesley Solomon and Dorothy Anne King Solomon. She attended Abbeville High School in Abbeville, AL and graduated Troy State University in 1970.

She moved to Pensacola and became a beloved teacher at Workman Middle School. She was smart, strict, but also compassionate and funny. She had some lasting relationships with many of her eighth grade English students over the years.

She is survived by her loving husband, Richard; two children, Wesley Harper and Lauren Harper Frey (Steve); and her cherished grandchildren, Emma Harper, Mason Frey, and Sadie Frey.

Suzanne was a special person that will be missed dearly by her family and friends.

She will be honored in a small, private family service.
