Tacy Irene Snyder Coleman, born January 15, 1917, in Richwood, WV, passed on November 29, 2016.
Irene, as she was known, spent her youth in Richwood and went on to Linden Hall in Philadelphia, PA, for post high school studies. She then transferred to Carnegie Tech earning a degree in Library Sciences.
Irene worked in the Norfolk, VA, Ohio State University, and the Toledo, OH, Public Library systems as well as various volunteer positions.
Irene married the love of her life, James C. Coleman, on September 15, 1940. A daughter and a son were born to this union which lasted 72 years.
Irene and Jim lived in Toledo, OH, Columbus, OH, Pisa, Italy, and Pensacola, FL, during their rich and eventful life. Their greatest joy was traveling with family and friends and partaking of the wonders of the world.
Irene is preceded in death by her husband, Jim.
She is survived by her daughter, Sarah Coleman and her son, Bruce Coleman and her granddaughter, Stephanie Jablonski (Derek) along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Private Family Services will be held.
