Tammie Sue Caudill, 54, of Pensacola, FL went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 22, 2025. She was born on March 15, 1970, to John G. and Betty Sue Jackson Meador in Falls Church, VA.

Tammie was a loving and devoted wife, mother, daughter, and grandmother who loved God, family and country. She owned and operated her own cleaning business until her illness required her to stay home and take on the role of housewife to her husband, Michael. They were together for twenty-two years, married for the last twenty. She earned an associate's degree in forestry at PJC and was president of her class. Tammie once had to rev up a chainsaw to get respect from her classmates, she loved to tell that story.

Tammie was trained in Aikido Martial Arts. She enjoyed telling stories of throwing 300-pound men all over the mat in class. She loved to spend time with her twelve grandchildren. She loved plants and liked to spend time gardening. She was a fan of Dr. Who, her favorite one was David Tennant. She enjoyed Horror and Sci-Fi genre movies and TV shows and even collected figurines. Tammie liked Snoopy from Charlie Brown, and she loved the Grinch! She loved all kinds of animals including dogs, cats, reptiles of all sorts, iguanas, lizards, snakes, turtles, birds of prey, owls, hawks and eagles. She liked jewelry, spending time crafting, and painting. She liked anything to do with dragons, fairies, or gnomes and was a very organized person. She was full of life and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Tammie is preceded in death by her father, John G. Meador; grandparents, John and Edna Jackson; and an aunt, Brenda Engle.

Those left to cherish her memory include, her loving husband, Michael Caudill; her mother, Betty Sue Meador; a brother, John H. Meador; son, Jon-Micheal Meador; mother-in-law, Carol Caudill; bother-in-law, David Caudill; sister-in-law, Regina Combs; uncle, Fred Jackson; and twelve grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
