Teresa "Tessie" Click Williams, passed away Saturday, March 20, 2021.

Tessie was born in Norfolk, Virginia on March 28, 1944 to the late Dr. & Mrs. GN Click, she was their middle daughter. In addition to her parents, Tessie was preceded in death by her sister, Elizabeth Ann Click Carruth and step-son, Christopher Wilson Williams.

Tessie moved to Pensacola, Florida in 1945, where she grew up. She attended Pensacola Catholic High School and the University of Alabama. Tessie was an avid tennis player, she loved the outdoors and gardening. In her later years she enjoyed playing cards with her sister and friends. Active in the community, Tessie was a member of The Junior League of Pensacola, Florida. She served on the board of the Society of the Debutant Cotillion for 40 years, volunteered with the Fiesta of Five Flags for over 30 years, served the homeless through St. Joseph's Soup Kitchen, was a member of the Pensacola Yacht Club and the Basilica of St. Michael the Archangel. In her lifetime, she was also active in several Mardi Gras organizations such as Merry Makers, Pierrettes and Mystic Maids.

She is survived by two daughters, Sarah Elizabeth Williams and Elizabeth Williams Jasperson (Matthew), both of Pensacola, FL; a sister, Sarah Click Carruth, of Pensacola, FL; three grandchildren, Jack Christopher Jasperson and William Jay Jasperson, both of Pensacola, FL, and Marianne Ada McGehee, of Birmingham, AL.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Wednesday, July 28, 2021 from 11:00am until 1:00pm at the Pensacola Yacht Club, 1897 Cypress St., Pensacola, FL 32502.
