Teresa Anne Gunsauley, 55, of Gulf County, FL passed away on Thursday, January 18, 2024.

Teresa was born on February 9, 1968, at Chanute Air Force Base Hospital in Rantoul, IL, to Alice Mae (Knoepfle) and Raymond T. Gunsauley, Sr. With her father being in the US Air Force, she traveled the country with her family to Columbus, MS, where her brother was born, Arizona, Hawaii, New Mexico, and Alexandria, LA, where attended Air Base Road Baptist School. As an adult she lived in New Mexico, Pennsylvania, Georgia, South Carolina, Tennessee, and her favorite place…Florida. She has lived in Florida off and on for the past 20 years. She has made many friends and family in and around Gulf County. She enjoyed riding her Harley, until she had to let it go, fishing, riding dirt roads, the beach, bowling, and going to new places. Most of all, she loved being able to spend time with her grandkids. Teresa worked many jobs including being a Cosmetologist, a Pharmacy Tech, Assistant Manager at a Family Dollar Store, where she was soon to be promoted to Manager of her own store. Coffee was her best friend! LOL. She was a diehard fan of LSU Football and the Atlanta Braves. Teresa loved going to Braves games with her brother, mother, and other family members. Her favorite color was purple, favorite flowers were sunflowers, magnolias, and roses, and she loved animals too. She had all different kinds, cats, dogs, ferrets, and many more. She will be sorely missed by her family and friends. Please continue to keep her family in your thoughts and prayers. We pray that Teresa is now able to do all the things she loved to do and will keep watch over us all.

She is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, William & Alice Gunsauley and maternal grandparents, Kenneth & Virginia Knoepfle.

Survivors include her daughter, Nichole Young (Joshua); two sons, John Mark Williams (Channer) and Justin Williams (Lynn); mother, Alice Ashley; father, Raymond Gunsauley, Sr. (Ann); brother, Raymond Gunsauley, Jr. (Maria Avila); 13 grandchildren, Alice, Taylor, Major, Parker, Jace, Jaxon, Ridley, Jayden, Aria, Layla, Landon, Waverly, and Blakely; niece, Brooke Gunsauley; nephew, Austin Gunsauley; Teresa's life partner, Chris "Woody" Hughes and his daughter, Chrissy and her children, Emma and Reid.

A memorial service will be held 5:00pm Saturday, January 27, 2024, Long Avenue Baptist Church, 1601 Long Ave., Port St. Joe, FL 32456, with Pastor Boyd Evens officiating.
