Theresa Claudette Nickerson Donnelly, 82 passed away in Birmingham, AL on Friday, March 25, 2022.

Theresa was born in Belfast, ME on November 22, 1939, to Paul and Ruth (Morgan) Nickerson. The family lived in Portsmouth, NH prior to moving to Pensacola in 1949.

Theresa graduated from Pensacola High School in 1957 and attended Pensacola Junior College. Prior to raising her daughter, Theresa was a loan officer for Citizen and Peoples National Bank. Theresa also worked for the Escambia County Sheriff's Office as a Civil Process Server for more than 20 years.

Theresa is preceded in death by her husband, Patrick Knox Donnelly; her parents, Paul and Ruth Nickerson; brother, Paul Nickerson (Ethel); and brother, Gary Nickerson.

Survivors include her daughter, Patrice Donnelly of Birmingham, AL; sister, Pat Brierley of Pensacola, FL; sister, Pauline Shore of Milton, FL; brother, Terry Nickerson of Cleveland, AL; and many nieces and nephews.

Graveside Service will be held 2:00pm Wednesday, April 6, 2022, at Bayview Memorial Park with Rev. Ashley Meyer officiating. A Memorial Service will be held 2:00pm Saturday, April 9, 2022, at St. Martins in the Pines, in Birmingham, AL.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The American Village in Montevallo, AL or The Alabama State Archives and History in Montgomery, AL.
