Theresa M. Wyda, 83, of Pensacola, FL passed away Thursday, July 14, 2022.

Theresa was born on March 21, 1939 in Wilkes-Barre, PA. She graduated from Nanticoke High School and Misericordia University. She taught at Clifton High School in Clifton, N.J, taught Home Economics at Catholic High School in Pensacola, FL. Theresa also worked at the Family Service Center at NAS Pensacola. She loved reading, sewing and watching Notre Dame football. She was a member of the Escarosa Women's Club, Nativity Council of Catholic Women and Notre Dame Club of Pensacola.

Theresa is preceded in death by her husband, Edward J. Wyda and her parents, Andrew and Theresa Michak Boback.

Theresa is survived by her son, Scott Wyda (Melissa); grandson, Brayden and granddaughter, Morgan.

Visitation will be held at 10:00am until a Funeral Mass to begin at 11:00am Tuesday, July 19, 2022, at Nativity of Lord Catholic Church with Father Hank Lech celebrant. Interment will follow at Barrancas National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church, 9945 Hillview Drive Pensacola, FL 32514.
