William "Tiny" West Roberts, 80, died peacefully at home surrounded by family on Saturday, June 10, 2023.

Tiny was born in Pensacola, FL to Herbert West Roberts and Barbara Hill Roberts. Tiny was a giving, warm hearted family man who was loved by all. He was an avid fisherman and hunter and member of many organizations over the years, including Jaycees and Krewe of Lafitte. He retired from Monsanto/Solutia after 37 years and continued to work in E&I for a few years to follow. Tiny married his beloved wife, Virginia "Jenny" Costa, in 1962. He married into 8 in-law siblings, whom he loved and cherished greatly. In a final act of selflessness, Tiny wished to donate his body to science, and will be going to University of South Alabama College of Medicine.

He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Jenny Roberts; his children, Anne Marie Godfrey (Steve), Scott Roberts, Jeff Roberts, and Faithe McDonald (Ray); grandchildren, Rachael Glascock (Kevin), Dafna Goldsmith (Mike), Lindsey Dyer (Brett), Cecily Roberts, Brittany Cayson, Will Roberts, Ava Roberts, Oliver Roberts, Emmy Roberts, Lily Roberts, and Heather Leigh Goodlander; great-grandchildren, Olivia, Clifton Jacob (CJ), Asher, Grayson, and Ari; as well as his brother, Rodney Michael Roberts (Becky).

Visitation will be held 5-7pm Thursday, June 15, 2023, at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel.

Memorial Mass will be held 10:00am Friday, June 16, 2023, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church with Fr. John Licari and Fr. Will Ganci concelebrating.

The family would like to give special thanks to all the staff at Covenant Care Hospice and their exceptional care. Our special nurses: Paula, Jahnea, Cici, Annabelle; Amanda, Terry and Peggy - you all took such great care of Tiny, each with their own special touch, we will forever be grateful!
