Todd Arturo Vilardi died suddenly on the morning of October 28, 2013. Todd was born in Highland Park, Illinois on August 16, 1968, the youngest son of Art and Arlene Vilardi. He was raised in Irvington, NY but relocated to Pensacola after the death of his parents in 1995. Todd graduated from Irvington High School and studied at Pace University and Troy University. He was married to the love of his life Shannon Vilardi. Todd enjoyed the company of his family and friends. He was a person with wide interests, a great cook and an experienced traveler. He loved his friends, family and community most of all. Pensacola was his home. Todd was a fine musician and carried on his Dad's classical Spanish guitar traditions by incorporating it into his own contemporary rock. He worked and performed as an artist all his life. He will be missed in the local Pensacola music scene. Most recently he was recognized for his contribution to the local band "Imaginary Air Show." Todd loved to celebrate. He believed, and helped us to believe, that life's sadness must be overcome. Todd will be remembered for his open mindedness, consideration of others and sense of humor. Todd was admired for making his own path, forging strong friendships and offering his creativity and passion to the world. Todd is preceded in death by his father, Arthur Joseph Vilardi and his mother, Arlene DeEsso Vilardi. Todd is survived by his loving wife, Shannon Broussard Vilardi and by his brothers, Guy O. Vilardi (Leslie Perkins) and Roy Dante Vilardi (Jennifer Wilcox). He will greatly missed by his nephews and nieces, Gigi, Peter, Laura, Josh, Zoe, Thomas and Marie. A Memorial Service will be held at 3pm Friday, November 1, 2013 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel, 2276 Airport Blvd, Pensacola.
