Thomas "Tom" Robert DeMoully, age 84, died unexpectedly on Monday, February 20, 2023, in Pensacola, FL.

Tom was born in St. Paul, MN on June 10, 1938. He was a graduate of the University of Florida majoring in Engineering. He became a Research & Development Engineer for General Electric and Eveready Batteries. He held three utility battery patents. He was an avid runner, competing in the New York Marathon, and was a member of the Florida Track Club for many years. He enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family, enjoying numerous games of Hearts and countless home improvements. He loved auto mechanics, especially his 1964 Ford Mustang. We will miss his abundance of love and support.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Melvina DeMoully; two sisters, Connie and Pat; and three brothers, John, Jim, and Bill.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Eileen; his two daughters, Kathy Gilbert (Jay) and Linda Watts (Geoff); his four grandchildren, Phil Gilbert (Tara), Colleen Timmons (Neil Tucker), Paul Gilbert (Mary-Kate), Rebecca Timmons (Kyle Monti); five great grandchildren, Lilly, Lauren, Harper, Jake and Addison; many nieces and nephews and his sister-in-law Marilyn DeMoully.
