Tommy Glenn Smith loved God, loved his family, and loved his country. He went home to be with the Lord on Monday, August 8, 2022, at the age of 70, after a difficult illness.

Tommy was born on September 16, 1951, in Fayetteville, NC. He graduated first in his class with a textile engineering degree from NC State and an MBA from the University of West Florida. After working for over 30 years as an engineer, Tommy returned later in life to law school. He received his law degree from Liberty University and returned to Pensacola to serve his community as a Board Certified Elder Law Attorney, most recently at his own firm, Smith Law, PLLC.

His greatest accomplishments, though, were personal not professional. His friends and family loved him and respected his honesty, his integrity, and his love for life.

He is preceded in death by his father, Glenn; mother, Nina; and sister, Peggy.

He is survived by Debbie, his wife of 39 years; son, Zack (Anna); and his nephew Kenny.

His family invites you to celebrate his life with a visitation at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel on Sunday, August 14 ^th from 4:00–6:00 pm. The Funeral Service will be 11:00 am, Monday, August 15 ^th at Hillcrest Baptist Church on 9 Mile Road. Interment will follow at Bayview Cemetery.

There is no doubt that he would want everyone to know this: Jesus loves you. He died for you. And today, you can find everlasting life through Him.
