Tonyia Annette Ashley, age 71, of Milton, FL, went home to be with the Lord on Monday October 13, 2025. Tonyia was born on January 18, 1954, in West Monroe, LA to the late Rhodell and Betty Diel Ashley. Tonyia was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister who loved her family dearly. She graduated from Clarksville High School, class of 1972.

Tonyia was a selfless mother, always willing to sacrifice so her children would not do without. She enjoyed spending time crafting, gardening, watching hummingbirds, and spending time in the outdoors and with her beloved dog of 15 years, Chelcee.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Marvin Travis.

Those left to cherish her memory include her two sons, Brian Greenwell and Eric Greenwell (Ashley); a daughter, Melissa Sheppard (Jodie); her brothers, Mark Ashley (Sylvia), Michael Ashley (Susan); a sister, Saundra Ellis (Jeff); six grandchildren; one great-grandchild.

Memorial Visitation will be held from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at the City of Richland, MS Community Center, 410 East Harper Street, Richland, MS 39218.
