IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Valerie
Fisher
December 24, 1979 – December 31, 2024
Valerie Fisher, known to her closest loved ones as Val, was a passionate mother, daughter, grandmother, and friend. She fought a 14-year battle with brain cancer, losing to the third bout of illness on December 31, 2024, at the age of 45.
She was born to Marvin and Gisela Fisher on December 24, 1979. Eventually adding to the family by giving birth to her daughter, Isabel Tran.
She followed in her passions and the family trade of being a Social Worker. She worked with addicts, children, and domestic violence victims. Helping others was her life's purpose, and it fulfilled her.
In her free time, she was an avid gardener. She quickly became devoted to collecting plants and getting her hands into soil. She also loved the arts. Valerie went to the ballet in the winter, painting classes with friends, and did small crafts at home like crocheting. She was an animal lover at heart. She had the hopeful and innocent idea of one day saving every animal and giving them the love they deserved.
Valerie Fisher was an outgoing, loving, family oriented, artistic, intelligent, independent, and righteous soul that we were fortunate enough to experience. Heaven and the rainbow bridge welcomes her with open arms.
