Vallrie Jean Wallace, 92, passed away Tuesday, January 23, 2024, after a long battle with Alzheimer's Disease. Surrounded by family, she peacefully succumbed and entered the gates of Heaven. She still looked so beautiful.

Vallrie was born on October 1, 1931, in Mobile, AL to DeAlva (Shannon) and Roshier Lee Wallace. She had an amazing life, nominated for her beauty and charisma she won the Miss Fairhope contest in 1948 at age 16. Later she became a model and a Broadway stage dancer. She knew and mingled with many famous celebrities. She was also the creator of the impressive Fairhope Bicycle Club in the mid-1970s and co-owner of Laval Construction Company.

Vallrie firmly believed in Heaven, God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. She will always be remembered as a selfless, outstanding, loving person to all her family and friends. A role model to many! May she now rest in peace in eternal Heaven.

She is survived by two brothers, a sister, a daughter, a son, 4 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.

Funeral Service will be 10:30am Friday, February 2, 2024, at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel, with Chaplain Angie Harrington officiating. A Committal Service will be held at 1:00pm Friday, February 2, 2024, at Memory Gardens of Fairhope, Fairhope, AL.
